PHLPost launches stamp honoring Pope Francis

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) launched a commemorative stamp honoring Pope Francis on Thursday to celebrate his legacy of faith, compassion, and service to humanity.

The stamp features a se-tenant format with two connected designs: one highlighting spiritual humility and the other advocating for peace, social justice, and environmental stewardship.

There are 20,000 printed copies of the stamp and 1,000 Official First Day Covers available for purchase at the Manila Central Post Office.

Postmaster General Luis Carlos stated that the stamp represents unity, love, and faith transcending borders.

PHLPost previously issued stamps during Pope Francis' apostolic visit to the Philippines in 2015 and his first year as pope in 2014.
