Philippines to receive 391K bivalent COVID-19 doses next week

The Philippines will receive its first batch of bivalent COVID-19 vaccines next week, with around 391,000 doses expected to arrive.

DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire announced the arrival and stated that health workers and senior citizens will be prioritized for the initial distribution.

The implementing units are currently preparing for the vaccine rollout through orientations on how to distribute the bivalent vaccines effectively.
