Palace: Health workers' abroad ban may lift once COVID improves

The Palace said President Duterte might lift the ban on health care workers deploying abroad once the coronavirus situation improves in their destination countries.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated during a virtual presser that the deployment ban would be lifted when the threat of COVID-19 is addressed in intended locations.

Currently, only healthcare workers who signed contracts by March 8 are allowed to leave the country after acknowledging the risks involved.
