Philippines targets nearly 5M foreign tourists this year

The Philippines aims to attract nearly 5 million foreign tourists this year, doubling last year's number of about 2.6 million visitors.

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco noted that the government has implemented the eTravel system to facilitate travel and replace the One Health Pass.

Frasco also mentioned that improvements are being made at key gateways like Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2, Cebu City Pier 1, and Davao International Airport.
