PH suspends OFW deployment to Oman

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has temporarily suspended the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to Oman.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III confirmed that POEA issued a resolution suspending OFW deployments based on recommendations from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Oman recently banned entry for travelers from the Philippines and those who have been in the country, prompting the suspension.
