Philippines receives AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine shipments

The Philippines received a new batch of AstraZeneca vaccines on Friday, with 698,600 doses arriving at NAIA Terminal 1.

On Thursday night, an additional shipment of 1,014,390 Pfizer vaccine doses arrived at NAIA Terminal 3.

These deliveries include both government-procured and private sector-purchased vaccines.

Earlier this week, the country also welcomed a donation of 2,000 AstraZeneca doses from Brunei, with more expected to arrive soon.

The donated vaccines will be administered to the general population excluding minors due to emergency use authorization restrictions.
