PH forms task group for COVID-19 vaccine distribution

The Philippine government has established a task group led by the Department of Health (DOH) to prepare for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.

The Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) created this 'COVID-19 Immunization Program Management Organizational Structure' to ensure efficient deployment of vaccines to target populations.

Priority groups include the poor, policemen, and soldiers, with plans to vaccinate around 20 million Filipinos for free.
