Philippines, China eye cyber collaboration

The Philippines welcomes potential collaboration with China to address recent cyberattacks on government websites.

ICT Secretary Ivan John Uy stated during a Palace briefing that the DICT has been working diligently to prevent these attacks and that China has offered cooperation in identifying and prosecuting perpetrators.

Uy also presented President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. with the National Cybersecurity Plan for 2024-2028, which aims to enhance cybersecurity policies and develop a skilled cyber workforce.
