PNVF hosts Rebisco Asian Beach Tour in Santa Rosa

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation is hosting the Rebisco Asian Volleyball Confederation Beach Tour Second Nuvali Open in Santa Rosa City from April 2 to April 5.

Eight countries will send a total of 18 women's pairs and 11 nations will contribute 22 men's tandems, making this the first of two major international beach volleyball tournaments scheduled for this year at Nuvali.

University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 87 champions Kat Epa and Honey Grace Cordero from National University and runners-up Khylem Progella and Sofia Pagara from University of Santo Tomas will compete alongside other collegiate players in the tournament.

The event includes college stars such as Sunny Kalani Villapando, who played for Stanford, and veteran Alexa Polidario of the Philippine Army competing with young Lorien Ysobel Gamboa of UST against top international teams.

Four Filipino women's pairs and three men's tandems will compete alongside teams from Australia, Thailand, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Iran, and Indonesia.
