PNP rescues kidnapped Chinese boy in Parañaque

Tuesday evening, authorities rescued a 14-year-old Chinese boy who was kidnapped and later abandoned along Macapagal Avenue in Parañaque City.

The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG), with the assistance of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and NCRPO, recovered the minor and immediately reunited him with his father.

He was then taken to a hospital for a medical examination to ensure his well-being.

No ransom was paid in this incident, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible.

PNP chief Rommel Marbil emphasized that protecting all individuals within Philippine borders is a top priority and vowed to continue enhancing intelligence-gathering and operational capabilities to prevent future incidents.

The rescue operation serves as a testament to the police force's dedication to upholding safety and security.
