Roque, Morales settle spat over PhilHealth leadership

PhilHealth president Ricardo Morales says he has no issues with presidential spokesperson Harry Roque despite their recent disagreements.

Roque had expressed interest in replacing Morales, citing the latter's alleged failure to implement the Universal Health Care Law and address corruption within PhilHealth.

Morales responded that if Roque thinks someone else can do a better job implementing the law, he welcomes the suggestion but notes that only President Duterte has the authority to make such changes.

PhilHealth is ready to cooperate with investigations by government agencies regarding alleged anomalies in the agency.
