PhilHealth lists 4-5M deceased members in database

PhilHealth President Emmanuel Ledesma disclosed at a Senate hearing on Wednesday that around 4-5 million deceased Filipinos are still listed in the PhilHealth database.

Ledesma emphasized the need to clean up this outdated data to improve website development processes and has coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for assistance.

The DICT Undersecretary Jeffrey Ian Dy also addressed a recent cyberattack on their test site, assuring that no sensitive data was compromised.
