PH men's volleyball faces Indonesia in SEAG opener

The Philippines men's volleyball team will face Indonesia in the opening match of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games on May 3.

Cambodia, as host, was given the first choice and selected Group A position one, followed by Indonesia at two, with the Philippines in third place and Singapore last.

Despite initial controversy over their exclusion from the original draw, the team is now preparing for a challenging group that includes reigning champion Indonesia and bronze medalist Cambodia.

The re-draw was conducted online on April 18 and required approval from at least five of the eight participating nations.
