ASEAN Para Games rescheduled to October

The 10th ASEAN Para Games, originally scheduled for January and later postponed to March, has been rescheduled to October 3-9 due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19.

The Philippine Paralympic Committee president Michael Barredo announced that the games will proceed only if the pandemic is under control by then.

In a video conference meeting, eight out of ten member countries agreed on the new dates with conditions attached.

The APSF board will reconvene in July to reassess the situation before confirming the final dates.
