PH fully vaccinates 70M Filipinos before Duterte ends term

As of June 17, more than 70 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, representing about 78% of the target population.

The National Task Force Against COVID-19 credits this achievement to the commitment and hard work of health workers, volunteers, and citizens who have contributed to building an immunity wall among the people.

A total of 153 million vaccine doses have been administered, with over 74 million individuals receiving at least one dose.

The government aims to leave this accomplishment as a legacy for the next administration, urging them to prioritize continuing the vaccination program.
