Philippines Reports 2,019 New COVID-19 Cases on July 25

The Philippines reported 2,019 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, July 25, bringing the country's total to 78,412.

This marks the third consecutive day with over 2,000 new cases, pushing the total closer to the projected 85,000-case milestone by July 31.

The majority of new cases were from Metro Manila (1,115), followed by Cebu (479), Cavite (90), Rizal (52), and Davao del Sur (41).

Active cases now stand at 50,763, with recoveries increasing to 25,752 after 1,278 more patients recovered.

The death toll rose to 1,897 with 20 new fatalities.
