Petro Gazz Angelz beat Galeries, 3-0, in PVL On Tour

Petro Gazz Angelz bounced back from their opening loss in PVL On Tour with a victory over Galeries, winning 25-23, 25-21, 26-24 at the Batangas City Sports Center on Sunday.

Former PVL MVP Myla Pablo led Petro Gazz with 14 points from attacks, emphasizing teamwork and communication among her teammates to secure a decisive win despite the absence of Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips who are in Vietnam for Alas Pilipinas' VTV Cup stint.

Petro Gazz coach Koji Tsuzurabara activated sophomores AA Adolfo and Donna Paralejas, as well as rookies Julyana Tolentino and Pauline de Guzman, to test their readiness and contribute to the team's success.

Veterans Jonah Sabete and Djanel Cheng contributed significantly with 10 points each and 16 excellent sets respectively, while rookie Julyana Tolentino was tested as main setter against Nxled.

The Angels finished their Batangas tour with a 1-1 record in Pool A and will return to action on July 12 in Ilagan City against PLDT.
