Perpetual Help sweeps NCAA volleyball, Bedaña and Marapoc named Players of the Week

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA continues to dominate the NCAA Season 100 volleyball tournament with a perfect 3-0 record in both men's and women's divisions.

Winnie Bedaña and Jeff Marapoc have been named the first Collegiate Press Corps NCAA Players of the Week for their outstanding performances from February 20 to March 1, leading their respective teams through critical matches.

Bedaña has stepped up her game despite the departure of veterans like Mary Rhose Dapol and Razel Aldea, scoring a total of 53 points across three wins against San Beda University, Jose Rizal University, and Lyceum of the Philippines University.

Marapoc, last season's Finals MVP, has continued to excel in his role as team captain, overcoming the pressure following the departures of Louie Ramirez and former coach Sammy Acaylar.

Both players have emphasized their resilience and determination in handling adversity, with Marapoc noting that embracing the program’s strategy is crucial to success.
