Peralta mandates COVID-19 tests for all judges

Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta stated on Thursday that all judges must undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing.

Peralta noted some older judges in Metro Manila were initially reluctant due to fear of being infected, but eventually agreed to be tested.

The Chief Justice instructed Court Administrator Midas Marquez to explain the necessity of testing for both judges and employees.

Some judges outside Metro Manila expressed interest in testing but faced transportation challenges.
