PDEA links Sen Bong Go to criminal circles, denies having evidence

During the House QuadComm inquiry, PDEA Deputy Director General Renato Gumban revealed that casino junket operator Allan Lim is a close friend of Senator Bong Go based on an informant's report.

Gumban clarified that while there's no concrete evidence linking Go to illegal drugs or gambling operations, the matrix presented at the inquiry aims to establish connections between high-profile individuals and criminal activities.

Senator Bong Go denied the allegations, calling PDEA’s statements irresponsible and an illogical attempt to establish guilt by association.

Lawmakers criticized PDEA for including Go's name in the matrix without sufficient evidence, urging them to ensure information is enough to prove their point before presenting it.
