PCG ends search for six missing fishing boat crewmen

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) terminated search and rescue operations on Thursday for six missing crew members of a fishing boat that sank off Davao Oriental last week.

The PCG decided to end the search after seven days, although it will continue alerting passing vessels about the missing crew.

A survivor reported that the missing individuals might still be trapped inside the sunken vessel Genesis 2, which capsized around 182 nautical miles off Baganga town.
