Pasig sets up holding area for mild COVID cases

Pasig City opened a temporary holding area for mild COVID-19 cases on Thursday to address the shortage of hospital beds in Metro Manila.

Mayor Vico Sotto cited that finding vacant beds can take up to three hours, making it difficult for patients to receive timely care.

The facility aims to provide an alternative solution during the current crisis and help alleviate the strain on hospitals.
