Pasig implements ordinance against panic buying

Pasig City will implement an ordinance to curb panic buying and hoarding during the Luzon quarantine due to COVID-19.

The Anti-Panic Buying and Hoarding Ordinance limits the quantity of goods individuals and businesses can purchase daily, with violators facing penalties.

For instance, individual consumers are restricted to purchasing 6 cans of sardines per day while small store owners may buy up to 24 cans.
