Angelica Panganiban mourns her mother Ebela's death

Actress Angelica Panganiban announced on Wednesday that her mother, Annabelle 'Ebela' Panganiban, passed away at the age of 61 on August 20.

Panganiban shared an obituary containing a photo of her late mother without providing details about the cause of death. The wake and memorial service for Annabelle began today at Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium in Quezon City.

Panganiban previously expressed gratitude to her mother for raising her well and helping her become a good parent to her daughter Amila Sabine. She also acknowledged Annabelle as the source of her values and parenting skills.

Born Angelica Charlson, Panganiban revealed in a 2010 interview that she was adopted by Annabelle after being born to a Filipina mother who died and an American father from the US Navy.
