Malacañang vows to fix Hatid Tulong lapses

Malacañang vowed to address lapses in the Hatid Tulong program after photos of crowded conditions at Rizal Memorial Stadium went viral.

Spokesperson Harry Roque admitted there were shortcomings, including a lack of physical distancing and an unexpected influx of LSIs who failed to register their intention to be sent home.

Roque said he would personally speak to the Hatid Tulong Executive Director to address these issues and echoed Interior Secretary Eduardo Año’s suggestion to set up separate venues based on region.
