PAL launches daily nonstop Doha flights via codeshare with Qatar Airways

Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced plans to launch nonstop daily flights to Doha starting June 16 as part of a codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways.

The new service aims to improve connectivity between the Philippines and the Middle East, offering seamless access to over 170 destinations through Hamad International Airport in Doha.

Departing Manila at 18:50, flights will arrive in Doha at 23:40, while eastbound travelers can connect smoothly onto Philippine Airlines flights departing Doha daily at 13:00 for an afternoon arrival in Manila.

Philippine Airlines President and COO Captain Stanley Ng emphasized that the partnership aims to boost tourism, trade flows, and business growth between the Philippines and Qatar.

The daily nonstop flights will be operated on Airbus A330-330 aircraft with a dual-class configuration offering 18 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 341 seats in Economy Class.

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori stated that the collaboration also aims to deepen socio-economic ties between Qatar and the Philippines, exploring additional opportunities for promoting new destinations and frequent flyer cooperation.
