PAL resumes Manila-Sapporo winter flights

Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced the return of its seasonal nonstop Manila-Sapporo flights for the winter season starting November 24, 2025.

The carrier will operate these flights three times a week using Airbus A321neo aircraft until March 27, 2026, with plans to continue this service in future winters.

Each flight includes 12 seats in business class and 156 in economy, offering inflight entertainment and WiFi connectivity.

PAL president Richard Nuttall highlighted the route's significance for Filipino tourists and overseas workers, as well as Japanese travelers interested in Philippine culture.

Sapporo is a popular winter destination known for its skiing resorts and annual Snow Festival featuring large ice sculptures.

In addition to Sapporo, PAL serves Osaka Kansai, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita, with direct flights from Cebu to Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Narita.

PAL's decision to revive the route aims to strengthen bilateral relations and cultural ties between the Philippines and Japan.
