PAGCOR commits PHP300M for PNPA upgrades, training

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has committed PHP300 million to upgrade facilities and provide advanced training resources for the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).

Speaking at the 45th PNPA Alumni Homecoming on Friday, PAGCOR CEO Alejandro Tengco emphasized the corporation's support for law enforcement institutions.

The grant will fund the construction of an alumni association building, upgrades to the Crime Scene Plaza, and the purchase of firearms training simulators and crime mapping software.

Additionally, PAGCOR provided a PHP2.2 million check to finance a new service vehicle and distributed 100 computer tablets for cadets' continuing education.

Tengco highlighted the importance of technology in law enforcement and its role in enhancing cadet training to combat crime effectively.
