PAGASA: ITCZ brings rain showers to Mindanao and other regions

PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over parts of Mindanao and other regions due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Davao Region, and Caraga Region are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and other areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warns residents in low-lying places of possible flash floods or landslides due to heavy rains.

Light to moderate winds are expected over the archipelago, resulting in slight to moderate coastal waters.

Additionally, PAGASA is monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) that may affect the country.
