PAF airlifts over 2,600 boxes of aid to typhoon-hit northern Luzon

Philippine Air Force (PAF) helicopters and cargo aircraft conducted aerial relief missions to assist communities affected by recent typhoons in northern Luzon.

On November 12 and 13, PAF airlifted over 2,600 boxes of family food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development to Isabela and Cagayan provinces.

Two 'Black Hawk' helicopters transported 1,000 boxes of relief supplies to Maconacon in Isabela, while another mission delivered 1,650 boxes to Fuga and Calayan islands in Cagayan.

A C-130 cargo plane also conducted multiple sorties to deliver relief packs to Basco, Batanes, specifically to Itbayat and Sabtang islands.

Ground troops from various military branches and civilian volunteers collaborated to load and unload the relief supplies.
