Pacquiao's camp apologizes for staff violating EDSA bus lane rules

Manny Pacquiao's camp apologized after a service vehicle from his team used the EDSA bus lane on Sunday.

Pacquiao personally rebuked the staff member, who is part of his security detail, for using unauthorized blinkers and sirens while leading two other vehicles in the busway.

The driver was ordered to return and accept traffic tickets for disregarding traffic signs and illegal use of equipment.

Jojo Cagumay, Pacquiao's head of security, confirmed that the Senate candidate was initially unaware of the incident but took steps to reinforce traffic rules within his staff.

The Department of Transportation’s Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) caught two vehicles using the EDSA busway and reported unauthorized use of blinkers and sirens.

Pacquiao emphasized that such behavior would not be tolerated in his team, reinforcing strict compliance with traffic regulations.
