Pacatiw faces Baatarkhuu in ONE Fight Night 29

Filipino MMA bantamweight contender Jeremy Pacatiw will face Mongolia's Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu on March 8 at ONE Fight Night 29 inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ranked fifth in his division, Pacatiw acknowledges the pressure of ending Filipinos' losing streak against Baatarkhuu, who has won five of six fights in ONE FC, including four victories over Filipino opponents.

Pacatiw aims to break Baatarkhuu's mental resilience and end his string of wins over Filipinos, noting that there is more motivation than pressure for him in this fight.

The 36-year-old Baatarkhuu has a record of grinding out fights with high endurance, while Pacatiw emphasizes the importance of staying calm and focused to avoid frustration if his opponent recovers.

Pacatiw, who is on a two-match win streak via submission, was initially set to face Russia's Ibragim Dauev but took the match against Baatarkhuu due to Dauev missing weight, seeing it as a significant opportunity for him.
