Bishop urges Filipinos to maintain hope during pandemic

Bishop Broderick Pabillo, temporary head of the Archdiocese of Manila, urged Filipinos during Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday to maintain hope despite pandemic hardships.

Pabillo criticized the government's COVID-19 response and emphasized that sickness and stupidity should not have the final say.

In his Easter message, Pabillo assured believers that a new and better day is coming with God’s help.
