Over 870K tourists visit Aurora during Holy Week

Over 870,000 tourists visited Aurora province during Holy Week this year, according to the Provincial Tourism Office.

The report showed that there were 243,209 overnight guests and 627,963 same-day visitors from April 12 to 20.

Dipaculao recorded the highest number of both overnight guests (127,148) and same-day visitors (182,071), followed by Dingalan and Casiguran.

Tourism officials attributed the high turnout to Aurora's scenic destinations, religious traditions, and improved public safety protocols throughout the annual observance.

Local authorities activated tourist assistance desks in coordination with local government units to manage visitor influx and provide information.

The PTO continues to monitor tourist activities throughout the summer season and reminds visitors to observe safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
