Over 300 displaced in Camarines Sur due to flooding

Over 300 individuals are currently staying in various evacuation centers in Camarines Sur due to flooding and landslides caused by a shear line.

OCD-5 spokesperson Gremil Alexis Naz reported that 77 families, totaling 385 people, are in five evacuation centers in Buhi town, while other affected families have returned home from Ragay, Sipocot, and Libmanan.

Naz stated that flooding has been recorded in 13 local government units with at least 54 incidents of flooding across the province.

Currently, 13 barangays remain flooded while water levels have receded in 38 others.

The OCD also reported that six national roads and bridges are restricted to one-lane traffic, and 14 local roads are impassable for vehicles.

Naz noted that they are still awaiting reports from other provinces affected by the shear line.
