Olivarez, PCU-D secure semis spots in UCAL-PGFlex

Olivarez College and Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas secured twice-to-beat advantages in the semis after finishing first and second, respectively, at the end of the two-phase eliminations of the UCAL-PGFlex Linoleum 7th Season on Saturday, March 22.

The Olivarez College Sealions narrowly defeated the WCC-Aeronautical and Technological College Skyhawks with a final score of 85-80, securing first place in the eliminations.

Monsour Proel from Olivarez College was instrumental in the Sealions' victory, scoring 23 points and contributing five three-pointers, including one that broke a tie late in the game.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Christian University-D Dolphins easily won against the winless Philippine Women's University with a score of 79-49 to secure second place.

The top two teams will face Diliman College Blue Dragons and Immaculada Concepcion College Bluehawks respectively in the semifinals on Thursday, March 27.
