Oil firms raise kerosene, diesel prices Tuesday

Oil firms will raise kerosene and diesel prices starting Tuesday, November 28.

PILIPINAS SHELL and SEAOIL will increase kerosene by P0.65 per liter and diesel by P0.30 per liter from 6 a.m., while CLEANFUEL plans to raise diesel by P0.30 per liter starting at 4:01 p.m.

JETTI PETROLEUM also intends to increase diesel prices by P0.30 per liter beginning Tuesday morning, and CALTEX will implement the same changes for kerosene and diesel from midnight.

According to Assistant Director Rodela Romero of the DOE's Oil Industry Management Bureau, gasoline prices may remain unchanged or decrease slightly, while diesel and kerosene are expected to increase by P0.20 to P0.40 and P0.35 to P0.50 per liter respectively due to supply cuts in OPEC+ production and an increase in US crude inventories.
