OCD chief among 116 personnel test positive for COVID-19

Office of Civil Defense (OCD) chief Ricardo Jalad and 116 other personnel have tested positive for COVID-19.

Jalad, fully vaccinated, has mild symptoms and is in isolation.

Despite the infections, OCD will continue to monitor weather disturbances and natural calamities from home.

The OCD central office in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, remains closed until August 30.

Around 80% of the infected staff are asymptomatic and have been transferred to quarantine facilities.
