OCTA: NCR's COVID-19 cases back to February levels

Independent monitoring group OCTA Research reports that National Capital Region's (NCR) COVID-19 cases have returned to February levels, with a 7-day average of 493 cases.

This marks a significant reversal from the Delta variant surge in July, when daily cases were much higher.

OCTA fellow Guido David notes that NCR has dropped below its pre-Delta surge case numbers and the reproduction number is now at 0.40, indicating slowing virus transmission.
