Nxled wins close match over Galeries Tower, improves to 3-0

Nxled maintained its undefeated streak in the PVL On Tour with a close victory over Galeries Tower Tuesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre, edging out their opponents 26-24, 25-23, 25-23.

The Chameleons improved to 3-0, tying PLDT's start and moving closer to an outright quarterfinal berth.

Nxled overcame a slow start with steady passing and better ball movement, rallying from a 13-4 deficit in the first set.

EJ Cariño led the team with 16 points and nine excellent receptions, while Chiara Permentilla contributed 13 points, six digs, and nine receptions.

Nxled faces Farm Fresh on July 27 in Cebu as they aim to extend their unbeaten streak further.

Galeries Tower dropped to 0-3 with Jewel Encarnacion scoring 15 points for the Highrisers.
