NTF 82 celebrates Philippine Independence Day in Manila Bay

Naval Task Force 82, consisting of BRP Davao Del Sur and BRP Ramon Alcaraz, celebrated the Philippines' 122nd Independence Day by entering Manila Bay on Friday.

Crew members formed a human formation of the number 122 for a photo taken from an AW109 naval helicopter while both ships sailed in formation.

The NTF 82 commander read the Independence Day message for the troops, and the ships carried 30 Filipino repatriates from India and Sri Lanka who had completed their quarantine period without showing any COVID-19 symptoms.
