Amihan brings light rains to Luzon

The northeast monsoon (Amihan) will bring light rains to parts of Luzon on Monday.

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in northern Luzon and Cagayan Valley due to Amihan, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with localized thunderstorms causing possible flash floods or landslides.

Easterlies from the Pacific Ocean are affecting Central and southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies and isolated rains.

On Saturday, Easterlies were expected to cause cloudy skies with isolated rains and localized thunderstorms over Metro Manila and other parts of the country, posing risks for flash floods and landslides during severe storms.
