China sets no condition for PH access to COVID-19 vaccines

Philippine Ambassador to Beijing Chito Sta. Romana said Thursday that China has not set any conditions for prioritizing the Philippines in its distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.

However, Chinese pharmaceutical firms developing the vaccines have emphasized the need for adequate cold chain storage facilities in the Philippines.

Romana stressed that an effective cold chain is necessary to maintain vaccine potency and prevent exposure to extreme temperatures.
