NLEX Connector toll rates rise for Class 1-3 vehicles starting Oct 15

Motorists using the NLEX Connector will face higher toll rates starting Tuesday, October 15, following approval by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).

Under the new toll matrix, drivers of Class 1 vehicles such as regular cars and SUVs will pay P119, up from P86 previously.

Class 2 vehicles like buses and small trucks will now be charged a flat rate of P299, while Class 3 vehicles including large trucks will pay P418, compared to the previous rates of P215 and P302 respectively.

TRB explained that this adjustment is part of a phased plan to stagger the collection of the opening toll for the NLEX Connector to cushion the impact on expressway users.

Since the opening of Section 2 from España to Magsaysay Boulevard last October, motorists have been using the longer stretch at the original discounted rate without any toll increase until now.

Through the NLEX Connector, travel time between C3 in Caloocan and Magsaysay Boulevard has been reduced to just seven minutes.
