NGCP: Power not yet fully restored in Odette-hit areas

As of Tuesday Dec 21, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) reported that power transmission services have not yet been fully restored in some areas hit by Typhoon Odette.

In Cebu, Bohol, and Leyte, 12 towers and 600 steel poles were damaged, with restoration expected to take longer due to extensive damage.

For Negros, NGCP aims to restore power on December 22.

In Mindanao, particularly in Caraga, Surigao del Norte including Siargao, and Surigao del Sur, transmission services are still down but may be restored by Christmas Day.
