'Sosyal Climberson' trailer released, film premieres Feb 27

Netflix released the trailer for its upcoming film 'Sosyal Climberson,' starring Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings as a couple who are scam artists making millions by living fake double lives and extorting money from wealthy individuals.

The over-a-minute trailer, which features the pair pretending to be a rich couple named Penelope and Kiefer Regalado in an attempt to gain money from them, also includes a love scene and a kissing scene of the actors.

'Sosyal Climberson,' directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, is set to premiere on Netflix on February 27.

Racal and Jennings first teased their project with Laxamana in March 2024, following public scrutiny over a cheating scandal involving Jennings' ex-girlfriend Jam Villanueva in December 1924. Both have since addressed the issue publicly.

In addition to 'Sosyal Climberson,' Racal and Jennings also star together in the action-drama TV series 'Incognito.'
