NEDA proposes three-phase plan to combat COVID-19

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) has proposed a three-phase approach to mitigate the social and economic impacts of COVID-19.

Phase 1 focuses on clinical/medical response, public health measures, and short-term augmentation of healthcare systems.

Phase 2 aims to rebuild consumer and business confidence once the ECQ is lifted, while Phase 3 involves recalibrating development plans for a new normal state of economic activity.
