NCR COVID-19 positivity rate climbs to 13%, DOH maintains low risk

The weekly COVID-19 positivity rate in NCR has climbed to 13%, while OCTA Research reported it at 11.5% on July 14.

Despite the increase, DOH maintains that NCR remains at low-risk classification with an ADAR of 4.87 and bed utilization rates at 30.70%. ICU utilization rate is at 22.16%.

OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David noted a slowing growth rate to 32% as of July 11, suggesting the wave may have peaked or will peak soon.
