NCR at low risk for COVID-19; reproduction number slightly increases

The National Capital Region (NCR) is classified as 'low risk' for COVID-19 after its reproduction number increased slightly to 0.71, according to OCTA Research on Thursday.

Although the reproduction number has risen from 0.62 to 0.71, the DOH stated that this increase was small and not sustained, with no significant rise in hospital admissions.

The DOH emphasized that the reproduction rate is just one of several metrics used to monitor the situation.
