DOJ orders NBI to probe illegal vaccine transfer in Northern Samar

The Northern Samar provincial government vowed to conduct a fair investigation into the reported illegal transfer of 15 doses of Sinovac vaccines.

On June 10, these vaccines were reportedly taken from the Northern Samar Provincial Hospital and administered to individuals close to an unnamed politician.

The Department of Justice ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to probe the unauthorized sale and administration of coronavirus vaccines in the province.

The NBI will assist the Philippine National Police and the provincial board in their investigation.
